I stumbled upon some info and screenshots on the production of Ragnarok Online 2. I must say the info is a little on the mind-numbing side, but graphically the game looks beautiful.
The stats have been noticably overhauled. We've completely lost Vit and Luk. In their place has been added Wis (Wisdom) and Con (Concentration). Also, what each stat does has been radically changed. Following is what the stats are supposedly going to do...
* STR (Strength):
Melee Physical Damage
Minimum Ranged Physical Damage
Reduces After-Cast Spell Time When Repeating Same Spell
Max HP Increased
Max Fatigue Increased
Max Weight Increased
* DEX (Dexterity):
Melee Physical Hit Rate
Minimum Physical Damage
Ranged Physical Damage
Reduces Casting Time For Spells
* AGI (Agility):
Melee Physical Dodge Rate
Ranged Physical Dodge Rate
Reduce Delay On Damage
* INT (Intellect):
Ranged Physical Critical Rate
Reduces After-Cast Time For Physical Skills When Repeating Same Skill
Max SP Increased
* WIS (Wisdom):
Melee Physical Attack Speed
Ranged Physical Attack Speed
HIT Rate of Spells
Minimum Spell Damage
* CON (Concentration):
Melee Physical Critical Rate
Ranged Physical HIT Rate
Spell Dodge Rate

The equipment system has also been overhauled. Apparently there's a lot of gear that your character is permanently going to be stuck with. However, this gear is going to level just as your character would. Each time it levels you can take it to be upgraded. Once it reaches its maximum upgrade it can then be enhanced to something stronger, and the process begins again.
"In Ragnarok Online 2, all Weapons, Shields, Gloves, Upper Clothing, and Shoes type equipments are all considered Leveling Type. The rest, Lower Clothing, Garment, Belt and Accessories, are not considered Leveling Type."
The job system sounds rather interesting. From what I gather, you can choose a route, decide you don't like it, and actually backtrack your job progression and choose a different route while keeping your base level progress. So instead of remaking chars, it would be possible to just change your job tree. Also, there's word that some skills can be specialized and be permanently kept as part of your character, regardless of the class you change to. This supposedly only works for a few skills and you're limited to how many you can keep.
