[glow=BF00FF,3,600]What is the Existence Triad Legacy?[/glow]The Existence Triad Legacy is the name I gave, many years ago, to the three main portions of sentient life. These are the body, mind, and spirit. Though three separate parts, they combine in varying amounts to make up a whole. Without one, we could not live as we do.
[glow=BF00FF,3,600]What is the Eve of Twilight?[/glow]The Eve of Twilight is a reference to the beginning of the final great war, known as Ragnarok, between the Gods and the Evils. In this war, according to norse mythology, both the Gods and the Evils will perish at the end of the world and the universe will be torn asunder.
[glow=BF00FF,3,600]What are the ETL and EoT guilds?[/glow]These guilds are intended for community. A democratic group of friends who can communicate and help each other out. Through friendship, honor, and respect, we hope to grow and thrive in the time to come.
[glow=BF00FF,3,600]What does a member need to do?[/glow]Friendliness is tantamount. We want to enjoy each other's company to better the RO experience. It is important to respect one another. We are all equals here and should be treated as such regardless of age, gender, race, creed, religion, preferences, and so on. A member should also make an effort to occasionally participate in activities with other guild members, especially during guild events. It is our duty to look out for one another and take care of each other, but within limits. Respect each other's desires and privacy, and encourage growth and community.

[glow=BF00FF,3,600]Be active[/glow]A member of the guilds should be regularly active. This doesn't mean you need to be on everyday for X amount of hours. However, constant and chronic inactivity will result in a character being removed from the guild.
[glow=BF00FF,3,600]Participate[/glow]Be open to friendly communication with other members of the guilds. Nothing beats those tiresome hours of mundane leveling like having other people to talk to. Also make a realistic effort to occasionally participate in activities with other guildmembers, especially during guild events.
[glow=BF00FF,3,600]No botting[/glow]It is against the rules, as designated by those who own/operate iRO, to use any third-party programs. Therefore we will abide by that. If a member is suspected of botting the consequence, if approved by the guild members, will be instant and irreversable banishment from the guilds. The reason for this is simple: we do not want the threat of losing an entire guild for one player's selfishness, greed, and carelessness. Respect the rules.
[glow=BF00FF,3,600]No unethical activities[/glow]This is a rather broad subject. Basically it covers anything questionable in terms ethics regarding the game, its players, and so on. This includes, but is not limited to, kill stealing, item stealing, skill abusing, mob training, LoD farming, swearing (this only applies to words censored in-game), maliciously verbally attacking other players (this includes, but is not limited to, name calling, racial slurs, sexual insults, harassment, etc.), and so on. Any questions about something you're unsure of, feel free to ask.
[glow=BF00FF,3,600]Character limit[/glow]The character limit will need to be adjusted according to members and space available. Eventually it will fall to one character per player if/when the guilds becomes active with members. More sub-guilds may eventually be made to make room for secondary/merchant characters as needed. This will be discussed later.
[glow=BF00FF,3,600]Inviting new members[/glow]Whenever a full-fledged member finds someone they think would make a good guild member (which should include someone who can follow the rules listed above), we'll give them a trial period. This person will be granted one character to join the guild on a per diem basis. After anywhere from a few days to a few weeks the guild council members will convene to discuss what they think of the new member and to decide upon what happens next.
[glow=BF00FF,3,600]Guild titles[/glow]Members on their trial period will retain the Journeyman or like titles until they are deemed a full-fledged member by the guild masters. A Journeyman is also tax exempt, regardless of level. The cost of a title is paying guild taxes (if you meet the level requirements noted below in the taxes section). Once given full membership, a player will be given a unique title as per their wishes. Nothing derogatory or against the usual iRO rules of conduct, please. Final say will be per the guild masters, so if a title is deemed inadequate please come up with another. Titles will remain unique until there are too many members, at which time members may have to share titles. Gravity programmed the guilds to only have twenty guild titles, so blame them. Hopefully they'll expand that later.
[glow=BF00FF,3,600]Guild taxes[/glow]Currently the tax system is very simple. A character of base level 1 through 49 and/or a standard novice or first-tier class that does not plan to be permanent will not have a mandatory tax. By choice the player can volunteer to have a tax, but it is strongly discouraged. The faster a character can get to a higher level and become stronger, the sooner that character will be able to handle stronger and more valuable monsters, and thus the more that character will actually be able to support the guilds. After achieving base level 50 on a perma-class or changing to a second-tier class, the current mandatory tax is 5%. Players can request a higher tax, if desired. If/when a character reaches base level 99, they will automatically be given a tax of 50% (the maximum), seeing as they cannot level further. If that character goes into rebirth (begins anew for transcendent advanced classes) then they will be treated as per their base levels and class tiers like any other characters. Also note that taxes only use base level experience and does not effect job level experience.
[glow=BF00FF,3,600]War of Emperium[/glow]As of now, there aren't really any plans to join WoE. The guilds are currently too small and lack any real chance of putting up a decent fight against the current guild alliances. Given growth of the guilds and an overall desire to participate down the road, we may eventually give WoE a try. We'll just have to see what happens.
